Monaco is gearing up for a spectacular 2025, filled with unforgettable events. From world-class sporting competitions to captivating cultural performances and new restaurant openings, Monaco promises an exceptional calendar of activities. The Principality continues to reinvent itself while staying true to its DNA.

1- Unmissable sporting events

  • 13–20 April 2025, Monte-Carlo Rolex Tennis Masters: Set against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean, this tournament, a cornerstone of the ATP Tour, offers thrilling matches featuring the sport's top players.
  • 03–04 May 2025, Monaco E-Prix: Experience the thrill of electric racing! Witness cutting-edge technology and high-speed action on Monaco's iconic circuit, showcasing a sustainable future for motorsport. In 2025, Monaco will for the first time be hosting two stages of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship over the course of one weekend, as part of the competition's eleventh season.
  • 22–25 May 2025, Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix: After a historic 2024 edition that saw Monegasque Charles Leclerc triumph on the streets of his home race, Formula 1 will return to the Principality of Monaco in 2025. Fans can also mark their calendars, as this event will take place on the first weekend of June each year starting from 2026. The announcement that Monaco has renewed its Formula 1 contract through to 2031, ensures the enduring legacy of the world's most prestigious race which continues to captivate audiences for years to come. 
  • 02–05 July 2025, Monaco Energy Boat Challenge: Discover innovation where pioneering universities from all over the world showcase sustainable marine technology, shaping the future of eco-friendly yachting in Monaco.

 2- Cultural showstoppers

  • 08 July–31 August 2025, Grimaldi Forum Summer Exhibition "Colors": The Grimaldi Forum will dedicate its 2025 summer show to 100 masterpieces coming from the Centre Pompidou in Paris, offering a multisensory journey through 20th-century art. A second exhibition, “Monaco & the Napoleon(s),” will explore historical ties with the Napoleon family.
  • 19 November 2025, Monaco National Day: Experience Monaco's rich program of traditional ceremonies, fireworks, and festive events that showcase the Principality's unique heritage.
  • 21–29 November 2025, Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival: Groove to the sounds of an eclectic lineup of international and local jazz artists in the iconic Salle Garnier of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.
  • All year, Oceanographic Museum: The museum has created “Polar Mission”, a huge exhibition tracing more than a century of life in the Arctic and Antarctica. This immersive experience takes visitors on a five-stage journey to the poles, culminating in a vast 650m² projection room that brings the beauty and fragility of the polar worlds to life like never before.
  • 2025 Season, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, under the artistic direction of Jean-Christophe Maillot, will present a series of mesmerizing performances all year around, blending classical elegance with contemporary innovation.
  • 2025 Season, Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra: This season, the MCPO will be marking two important commemorations intimately connected to Monaco's musical history: the 50th anniversary of the death of Shostakovich, and the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ravel.

3- A year of new gastronomic experiences

Alongside its vibrant event calendar, Monaco invites visitors to discover the latest additions to its restaurant scene.

  • December 2024, New Moods: Whether you come for a show, an after-work party, a get-together with friends or to immerse yourself in local life, New Moods is a venue for shows and concerts, a stand-up stage and a comedy club, with a cheerful, friendly programme of live music - rock, blues, pop, electro, and more. 
  • January 2025, Marlow: A new quintessentially English restaurant in Monaco's new Mareterra district, offers a refined dining experience with a focus on classic British cuisine. Set in an elegant environment, it promises an exceptional culinary journey.
  • April 2025, Monte-Carlo Cigar Club: An exclusive cigar club is opening at the Monte-Carlo Casino, created in collaboration with Dominique London, a leading company in the luxury cigar and spirits market. Offering a luxurious, private space, this ultra-private club promises a refined experience for cigar enthusiasts in Monaco.
