Visit Anchorage Connects with Australian and New Zealand Tour Operators in Virtual Sales Mission via TravTrade's Virtual Meeting Technology

14 November 2024 – Visit Anchorage, in collaboration with leading industry tour operators in Australia and New Zealand, successfully concluded a two-day virtual sales mission, powered by TravTrade's cutting-edge Virtual Meeting platform. The event saw representatives from Visit Anchorage and key partners engaging in real-time one-on-one virtual meetings with Australian and New Zealand tour operators.

Throughout the event, Visit Anchorage's industry partners, including Alaska Railroad, Xperience Alaska, Go Hike Alaska, Lazy Otter and 11 others, met with 18 Australian and New Zealand tour operators in virtual booths, facilitating 256 individual appointments. The event provided a unique opportunity for both Visit Anchorage's tourism stakeholders and Aussie and Kiwi operators to connect and build relationships despite geographical distances.


Travel USA's Founder and Managing Director, Andrew Gay, expressed enthusiasm about the event, saying, “Today was fantastic. It was a great opportunity to meet so many niche operators that we would never have had the chance to see in person. The platform worked seamlessly, and the conversations were highly productive.”


Natalie Dickins, Tourism Board and Partner Marketing Coordinator for Luxury Escapes, echoed the sentiment, commenting, “That was a fantastic platform for networking virtually.
