Travel Back in Time to the Blue Mountains for Australia's Biggest Dinosaur Experience

Scenic World Blue Mountains

TRAVEL BACK IN TIME TO THE BLUE MOUNTAINS FOR AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST DINOSAUR EXPERIENCE!

Dinosaur Valley is back at Scenic World:

  • Meet over 60 roaring life-size dinosaurs – can you find all 29 species?
  • Find and learn prehistoric facts with Dino Super Fan, Andy Day*
  • Ask a Dinosaur Ranger your trickiest dino question
  • Pat a baby dinosaur (or two!)
  • Become a certified Dinosaur Valley Junior Ranger
  • Catch the world’s steepest train into the ancient Jamison Valley rainforest to start you Dinosaur Valley adventure

Australia's biggest dinosaur experience opened this weekend at Scenic World with even more fun for the whole family.

For the first time, you’ll hear a new sound in the rainforest at Dinosaur Valley – the voice of Dino Super Fan and TV presenter, Andy Day. As you go on your dino-size adventure, look for Andy’s exclusive Dinosaur Valley videos and audio buttons to learn about his favourite dinosaurs, incredible facts and feel his infectious enthusiasm for our dinotastic friends.

This year, Dinosaur Valley has its biggest herd ever – 60 dinosaurs and 29 species have migrated into the rainforest and around Scenic World. You’ll find (and hear!) T Rex, Stegosaurus, Velociraptors, Dilophosaurus, some of Australia’s very own dinosaurs such Minmi and Australovenator, and many more roaring, moving dinosaurs.

Hop on the world’s steepest train, the Scenic Railway, into the ancient rainforest of the Jamison Valley and set off on your adventure beneath the canopy. Use your Junior Ranger Field Guide to see how many different dinosaurs or herds you can spot. Pat a baby dinosaur and dare to ask a Dinosaur Ranger your most difficult dino question. When you’re done in the valley, take a Pterodactyl-eye view of the forest from above as you glide between the cliff tops on the iconic Scenic Skyway.

Surrounded by kilometres of wilderness, Dinosaur Valley is a one-of-a-kind way for the whole family to discover (or re-discover) the natural wonders of the Blue Mountains. Whether you are a kid or still a kid at heart, Dinosaur Valley promises to leave you roaring for more.
