Tignes in Figures: Winter 2024 - 2025

Tignes

Preparations are well underway for another exciting ski season in Tignes. Finishing touches are being put into place for a new hotel-residence opening, a new chair lift, a funky new mountain restaurant, and of course the final plans for the opening weekend on 23rd November 2024. So how is all this stacking up numbers wise?

€30

Is the price of the lift pass for the opening week on 23 & 24 November. The season kicks off on Saturday 23 November with lifts opening for skiers and snowboarders to get back on snow and experience those first turns. The joy of the new season continues; from 25 - 29 November skiers can secure the €39 day pass and from Saturday 30 November Tignes and neighbouring Val d'Isère will both be open for the season with opening offers for daily lift passes at €61 until 20 December.

6 & 20

Gearing up for its first season is the new 6-seater chair lift 'Le Marais'. The quieter, faster and more energy-efficient lift will be transporting 2,020 skiers and boarders to the summit of Aiguille Percée in the Tignes sector. It will be joining the already 20 chairlifts operating in the ski area and live up to Tignes' motto of no waiting lines: 100% ski – 0% stress.
