The Readers' Choice Awards, known for its unmatched legacy as the longest-running and most prestigious honours in the travel scene, continues to stand as the ultimate mark of excellence and recognition. Out of a staggering half-million voting surveys, over 125,000 readers in the United Kingdom rated their travel experiences across the globe to offer a comprehensive look at the places they eagerly anticipate revisiting.

“We are truly honoured to be recognised by the acclaimed Condé Nast Traveller's Readers' Choice Awards. The new LUX* Marijani Zanzibar has been named one of the best resorts in Africa, while LUX* South Ari Atoll in Maldives and TAMASSA Bel Ombre in Mauritius are stand-out resorts for the readers, After its re-opening in October 2023, our reimagined LUX* Belle Mare in Mauritius is ranked at #3 in the Indian Ocean for resorts, a competitive region brimming with phenomenal luxury hotels. These outstanding awards are testimonies to our resolute commitment to consistently deliver industry-leading service and create extraordinary moments for guests and team members, as we expand our Group's global footprints,” said Olivier Chavy, Chief Executive Officer of The Lux Collective.

Located on the unspoilt east coast of Mauritius, the reimagined LUX* Belle Mare is a luxury family resort with timeless architecture designed by renowned Mauritian architect Jean-François Adam and elevated interiors by internationally-known Mauritian designer Jean-Marc Tang. Here, minimalist concept meets tropical island living. With 174 suites, 12 villas and an iconic picture-perfect beach, the resort is home to a pioneering kids' club, exquisite dining options featuring much-loved Chinese restaurant “Duck Laundry” and contemporary Indian gem “Amari” by the first Indian Michelin-star Chef Vineet Bhatia, one-of-a-kind collection of Extraordinary Experiences and wellness journeys at LUX* ME Spa.

In the Maldives, LUX* South Ari Atoll is a peaceful hideaway positioned on the laid-back paradise island of Dhidhoofinolhu, offering elegant overwater villas, beach pavilions and LUX* villas which complement its natural beauty. This luxurious resort features a variety of activities full of fun and modern soul including partaking in marine conservation, bicycle rides along the jetty, swimming alongside whale sharks, relaxing in overwater villas on stilts, culinary adventures at any of the eight restaurants and five bars. It is ideal for romantic escapes and sustainable weddings.

LUX* Marijani Zanzibar is an 82-room boutique resort on Zanzibar's northeast coast, with modern Arabian architecture and a coastal Swahili vibe inspired by the Spice Island's storied history. With a private pristine beachfront and Indian Ocean as the backdrop, it provides elegant spacious accommodation, restaurants with international and local cuisine, along with the warm personalised service that is a hallmark of LUX*. Besides unwinding at LUX* ME Spa, guests can immerse in its unique culture through thoughtful excursions including visits to a spice plantation and Stonetown, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Finally, TAMASSA Bel Ombre is a vibrant all-inclusive resort on the southwest coast of Mauritius, surrounded by dramatic mountains and dense sugarcane fields, with four spectacular pools and bespoke joyful experiences - crafted for families and friends to sharing good times, together. Edged by a turquoise lagoon against the Indian Ocean, it offers some of the best sunsets on the island. Through holistic therapies, its spa Santosha (in Sanskrit: “san” means “completely” and tosha, “contentment”) believes in cultivating both an attitude and a deep state of inner peace to achieve balance for the body, mind and soul.
