QT Canberra celebrates two wins at the annual Australian Hotels Association (AHA) ACT Hospitality and Accommodation Awards for Excellence Awards, held on Monday 30 September. 

The highly anticipated awards night is the highlight of the Territory's hospitality calendar, uniting industry members to celebrate the vibrant sector whilst recognising venues that have achieved excellence. 

QT Canberra's signature restaurant, Capitol Bar & Grill, was awarded 'Best Wine List', Restaurant Manager and Sommelier, Ashleigh Smith said, “I'm so proud of our wine list. It has been curated so that to highlight exceptional wines from around the world, including aged selections, and proudly showcases the incredible diversity of wines from the Canberra Wine District. Crafting this list was a labour of love, blending the best of both worlds to offer our guests a truly unique and memorable wine experience.” 

This win was followed by the 'Best Housekeeper' award, which was presented to Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Emma Searle. In recognition of her outstanding contribution in the field, this is achievement marks her consecutive win in this category. 

On the hotel's accolades, QT Canberra's General Manager, Stephen Hollow said, “To be recognised by the team at the AHA ACT Awards is a true testament to our people, we are honoured! This is a remarkable accomplishment given the calibre of talent in this industry.”
