The MICHELIN Guide has awarded coveted MICHELIN Keys to all three of Aleenta Resorts' boutique retreats in Thailand. Aleenta Phuket Phang Nga Resort & Spa, Aleenta Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Spa and Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai were each awarded a One Key distinction when the discerning brand announced its inaugural list of hotels in Thailand on 25th September. With 58 hotels on the list in total this means that the Aleenta Resorts brand accounts for 5% of Thailand's most outstanding hotels in 2024.
Hotels were selected after thorough evaluation by MICHELIN's inspectors based on five categories - architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the guest experience in a particular setting.
Anchalika Kijkanakorn, Founder and Managing Director of AKARYN Hotel Group, Aleenta Resorts, and akyra Hotels, says, “This recognition means so much to us all here at Aleenta Resorts. The MICHELIN brand is an internationally recognised standard of excellence and to have all three of our properties awarded One Key underlines that despite their varying locations, design and ambiance they are all underpinned by the core essence of Aleenta hospitality that epitomises 'living well'.
