This October Tokyo will host two sensational foodie events that celebrate the city's rich culinary heritage and innovative flavours. Join us for the Taste of Tokyo 2024 from October 25 to 27 and the Ramen Festa 2024 from October 24 to November 4. These festivals promise to tantalize your taste buds while showcasing the best of Tokyo's agricultural bounty and beloved ramen culture.

Taste of Tokyo 2024 October 25-27
Time: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Locations: Marunouchi, Hibiya, Yurakucho, and Toyosu
Admission: Free

Taste of Tokyo is a mega food festival dedicated to the region's agriculture and culinary delights. Hosted in the bustling neighbourhoods of Marunouchi, Hibiya, Yurakucho, and Toyosu, this year's event features a diverse array of stalls offering dishes crafted from locally sourced Tokyo produce. Visitors can indulge in gourmet treats, explore local markets brimming with fresh ingredients, and enjoy special menu items from nearby restaurants.

Highlights include:

  • Collaborations with the Tokyo Agricultural Festival
  • Hands-on experience corners and workshops for all ages
  • A wide selection of beverages, including Japanese sake and craft beer

Expect an abundance of flavours, from savory to sweet, all celebrating the essence of Tokyo's food culture.                                                                 

The main hubs for the festival are:

  • Marunouchi: Gyoko-dori and Marunouchi Naka-dori
  • Hibiya: Hibiya Nakadori and Tokyo Midtown Hibiya
  • Yurakucho: Tokyo International Forum Ground Plaza
  • Toyosu: Special venue on the seaside of the Gas Science Museum

Tokyo Ramen Festa 2024  October 24 - November 4
Time: 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM (closes at 6:00 PM on Oct 27, Oct 31, and Nov 4)
Location: Komazawa Olympic Park
Admission: Free (Ramen tickets: 1,100 JPY valid for one bowl)

Formerly known as the Tokyo Ramen Show, the Ramen Festa invites enthusiasts to immerse themselves in Japan's iconic noodle dish. With 36 unique vendors participating across three acts, this festival is a must-visit for ramen lovers. Each act features a selection of renowned ramen shops and introduces newcomers to the scene.

  • Act 1 (Oct 24-27): Highly recommended shops
  • Act 2 (Oct 28-31): First-time participants
  • Act 3 (Nov 1-4): Top vendors with the longest lines at nationwide events

Tickets for Ramen Festa can be conveniently purchased at 7-Eleven stores starting October 1, or at the venue from designated booths.
