SeaLink Marine & Tourism is excited to announce the appointment of Connect2India, part of the Gaibo Agency group, as its new trade distribution representative for India. Based in Mumbai, Connect2India is one of the few Australian-owned agencies operating in India, known for promoting leading Australian tourism brands.
This partnership comes at a pivotal time as India’s outbound tourism market has surpassed pre-COVID levels of visitor arrivals to Australia. Driven by the country’s expanding middle class, Indian tourists are increasingly seeking unique and high-quality travel experiences and destinations. By tapping into this growing demand, SeaLink aims to showcase its unique destinations and experiences to a high-value Indian audience.

Leading the Gaibo Agency is Garry Burns, a seasoned expert with over 28 years of experience in the Indian travel sector. Garry and his team have spearheaded key initiatives such as the India Host program for ATEC and Tourism Australia, positioning Connect2India as an ideal partner to help SeaLink Marine & Tourism drive its exposure in this market.
The Connect2India team in India will be led by Sales Manager Kajal Somalya, who brings over 16 years of experience in travel marketing and PR. Kajal has a proven track record of representing Australian brands and building strong relationships with Indian travel trade partners. Her expertise will be essential in promoting SeaLink Marine & Tourism’s offerings to Indian tourists.
