In celebration of the NRL Grand Final, BridgeClimb Sydney, in partnership with the NRL, is excited to announce the ultimate experience for NRL fans: ‘Climb with an NRL Legend.’ This exclusive BridgeClimb experience offers fans the unforgettable opportunity to reach the summit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge alongside some of Rugby League’s most celebrated legends. The series will take place over three days – October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th – with all proceeds supporting the NRL's, State of Mind program.
Three Days, Four Legends, One Epic Climb
Over the course of three days, with three separate climbs, a Rugby League legend will lead each experience. Fans can choose to join Bryan Fletcher, Ruan Sims (NRLW), Roy Asotasi, and Apisai Koroisau as they share stories and offer a unique opportunity to connect during the iconic tour to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. With group sizes limited to just 13 climbers per session, this intimate adventure offers exclusive access to these Rugby League greats while taking in breathtaking 360-degree views of Sydney’s skyline and harbour.
Best of all, 100% of ticket sales will be donated to the NRL’S State of Mind program, an initiative dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and supporting well-being within the community.
An Unforgettable Experience
BridgeClimb CEO Deb Zimmer expressed excitement about the collaboration: “We’re excited to partner with the NRL and offer fans this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to not only conquer the Bridge but to do it alongside their heroes. It’s a perfect blend of adventure, celebration, and community spirit, all in the name of an incredibly important cause.”
Climbers will be guided by a dedicated Climb Leader, learning fascinating insights about the Bridge’s history as they walk over steel catwalks and ascend to the summit. Once at the top, they’ll have time to chat with their NRL hero and capture the moment with a signed photo, all while basking in the city’s most awe-inspiring views.
“It’s almost Grand Final time in Sydney and the city is already buzzing with anticipation ahead of the biggest sporting event of the year,” said NRL CEO Andrew Abdo. “This is an incredible opportunity for fans to connect with their NRL and NRLW heroes while ticking off a real bucket-list experience and supporting a great cause.”
