Entries Now Open for the 2025 Suffolk and Norfolk Tourism Awards
Visit East of England is excited to announce that entries are now open for the 2025 Suffolk and Norfolk Tourism Awards. This prestigious event celebrates the best tourism businesses and individuals across Suffolk and Norfolk, offering a chance to compete at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
Pete Waters, Executive Director at Visit East of England, said: “The return of these awards is a significant boost for our region, and we encourage businesses to showcase their excellence. We've seen local success nationally, with recent winners like Watatunga and ROARR! putting our region on the map."
Award categories include Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park of the Year, Hotel of the Year, Experience of the Year, and Unsung Hero of the Year, among others. The deadline for entries is Sunday, September 29th.
Local businesses have already seen incredible benefits from these awards. Mill Farm Eco Barns, winner of the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award, found the recognition invaluable. "Winning this award means the world to us," said Emma Punchard, co-owner of Mill Farm Eco Barns. "Being recognised as a small, independent business has given us an incredible boost. It validates our efforts and inspires us to do even more."
ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure Park in Norfolk also saw the benefits, taking home Silver in the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism category and Bronze for Large Visitor Attraction of the Year at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. “To be recognised at a national level, with multiple awards, is a huge accolade for the ROARR! team,” said Adam Goymour, park director.
Businesses can submit their entries online through the official Visit East of England website. Winners will not only gain local prestige but also have the chance to represent the region at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
