EVT Expands in Perth with New Management Agreement (HMA) for Alex Hotel and Shadow Wine Bar

Perth, Australia – 13 August 2024 – EVT has been announced as the operators of Alex Hotel, effective mid-August.

Thrilled with their latest expansion into the vibrant Perth hospitality scene, this HMA appointment of Alex Hotel, including its renowned Shadow Wine Bar and Dining Room, complements EVT’s continued hotel expansion in Western Australia’s capital.

Nestled in the heart of Perth, Alex Hotel is celebrated for its unique, individually crafted experience that blends sophisticated relaxation with local charm. The hotel boasts 74 thoughtfully crafted bedrooms, offering a sense of home while highlighting industrial quality craftmanship, cosy colour palettes, locally sourced amenities and hand sculpted bathroom ceramics by artist Simone Nabhlz.

Shadow Wine Bar and Dining Room, an integral part of Alex Hotel, is hidden next door on William Street and set behind a classical 1950’s façade. Known for its exceptional food and beverage offerings and home style cooking, EVT will look to enhance this well-loved establishment's reputation, leveraging the Group’s extensive food and beverage credentials.
