BRANSON, MO (August 9, 2024) – August 31, 2024, marks the one-year anniversary of the Kansas City Chiefs naming the Branson/Lakes Area their “Official Vacation Destination.” In celebration of this one-of-a-kind partnership, Branson will celebrate with a Rally at the Branson Landing, Saturday, August 31, at 6:00pm.

At the Rally, Branson Mayor, Larry Milton, will welcome members of the Chiefs Cheer Team, The Rumble, Kansas City Ambassadors Shawn Barber and Dezman Moses, and KC Wolf. Championship trophies will be at the rally for photo opportunities, and the Chiefs Training Lab will be available for interactive opportunities. The rally will include performances by the award-winning show SIX, Tiffany Sassanella from Presley's Country Jubilee, and the Blues Brothers from Legends in Concert. Rally emcee will be Mike Patrick from Grand Country Music Hall. Everyone is invited to celebrate this unique partnership, cheer on the Chiefs, and play like champions in Branson. The Rally wil be followed by The Table Rockers & Bad Mojo in concert at Branson Landing.

The Kansas City Chiefs chose Branson as the “Official Vacation Destination” because of its vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere filled with live music shows; a multitude of exciting attractions; unique museums; and plenty of options for dining and shopping. Building up to the Rally, the Branson/Lakes Area will welcome the Kansas City Chiefs Cheer Team to Branson for a weekend of activities, promoting all that the Branson/Lakes Area has to offer. They will enjoy live music shows, boating on Table Rock Lake, visiting Silver Dollar City, shopping, and helping to kick off a week of fun in Branson.

The welcoming week to Explore Branson in celebration of “The Official Vacation Destination of the Kansas City Chiefs,” takes place August 24 through September 1.
