August 2024…/ Introducing Château de Fiac, a 19th century restored château-turned-luxury boutique hotel, part of international hotel group The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts. Located just 24 miles from Toulouse-Blagnac International Airport in the quintessential French village of Tarn, this 16-room and suite property spans over three hectares of landscaped grounds. Guests can expect a mix of contemporary and old world French interiors, a fine dining restaurant, a pampering REVĪVŌ spa and access to local experiences while using it as a base from which to discover the beauty of Occitania, one of France's most underrated regions.
The interiors of Château de Fiac, designed by Alexis Dupont are there to surprise and delight. Blending history with modernity through fun and contemporary design elements, there's no shortage of pops of colour and 70s inspired furnishings. Rooms are set over three floors and range from Classic to Junior Suite, each offering views of the surrounding grounds, with standout features including playful artwork, gilded fan lights (a nod to the previous generations of French nobility that previously inhabited this once stately home), and rolltop baths in the bathrooms. The exclusive Rooftop Suite treats guests to an expansive private terrace, as well as a collection of artworks.
Renaissance Restaurant
The Renaissance Restaurant is the Château's signature dining space, serving exquisite French dishes created by Chef Jérôme Travere, with a culinary background from the bustling streets of London to the vibrant markets of Barcelona.
REVĪVŌ Spa
The property's REVĪVŌ Spa is the first European outpost for The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts' recently launched wellness brand, REVĪVŌ. Launched first at REVĪVŌ Wellness Resort in Bali in April 2018, more REVĪVŌ properties are expected for 2025 and 2026. The common thread running through all REVĪVŌ Spa experiences is blending Balinese traditions with modern luxury, relaxation, and rejuvenation.
At Château de Fiac's REVĪVŌ Spa the menu has been inspired by the power of the ocean, with signature treatments including the Rituals inspired by the 5 Oceans, Marine Peel Treatment, Spiruline Boost Facial, Basic Sea Care Facial, and more. As well as tailored treatments, guests can relax in the specially designed spa sanctuary which includes an Icelandic plunge pool, indoor and outdoor pools, hammam, and sauna. Between May and September, guests can also make the most of complimentary yoga, Pilates, and meditation classes hosted in the newly constructed shala.
For those looking for an extra injection of wellness, Château de Fiac specialises in Signature Retreats with REVĪVŌ, spanning a minimum of three nights, and based around the goals of Detox, Destress and Relax, and Anti-Age. Whichever option guests select, all retreats are bespoke and personalised, with a pre-stay consultation ensuring the Retreat is as tailored exactly to guests' needs and goals. Retreat itineraries can include everything from daily spa treatments, nutritional guidance consultation and muscular awakening yoga.
Local activities
Château de Fiac is also the perfect base from which to explore France's stunning Occitania region, just 25 minutes from the historical town of Albi, and 45 minutes from Toulouse, whilst being surrounded by peaks, gorges and exceptional flora.
