Gilpin Hotel & Lake House

A little Lake House history

The Lake House was built in 1901 and has been in the Cunliffe family for over one hundred years when the current owner's great grandmother, Harriett, moved there in 1919. Although it was her main residence, it was actually enjoyed by the whole family and their children who all came together and holidayed in the Lakes.
