Following the success of Cedric Grolet & Airelles' partnership last season in Courchevel, the celebrated French chef continues his collaboration with the luxury French hotel brand in Saint-Tropez this summer with a host of new pop-ups, exclusive menus and guest experiences.

For the summer season at Airelles, Cedric Grolet has designed all viennoiseries, bread, pastries and desserts for Château de La Messardière's infamous Palladio and La Table de La Messardière restaurants, bringing his legendary creations, alongside unique new inventions to the table. The delectable delights devised especially for the hotel features the chef's signature fruit and floral creations reimagined with flavours inspired by the sun-soaked South of France.

This autumn, experience a taste of the extraordinary with an exclusive pastry masterclass curated and hosted by Cedric Grolet for guests of Airelles Château de La Messardière and La Bastide de Gordes.

Château de La Messardière
Recognised as one of the world's finest patissiers, Cedric Grolet will host an exclusive three-day pastry experience within the exceptional backdrop of Château de La Messardière.

Every afternoon from September 29th to October 3rd join in a 2-hour masterclass with Chef Grolet, picking up new creative skills and making incredible memories to last a lifetime.

La Bastide de Gordes

In the heart of the picturesque Luberon valley, discover two unmissable events created by Chef Cedric Grolet. On September 7th Bar de La Bastide invites guests to a special tea decorated with exclusive creations mastered by Grolet. Taste an assortment of experimental Trompe-l'oeil fruits and flowers that the Chef is famous for, opting for home-made iced tea or a glass of Veuve Clicquot to sip under the Saint-Tropez sun.

On September 8th enjoy an exceptional brunch from Airelles' L'Orangerie restaurant. Awaken tastebuds and experience Cedric Grolet's iconic dessert buffet on the picturesque outdoor terrace, set high among the dramatic stone façade offering captivating views across the Luberon.

AIRELLES CH TEAU DE LA MESSARDIERE, SAINT TROPEZ

Château de La Messardière is an iconic 5-star palace hotel perched on a hilltop on the outskirts of Saint-Tropez in its Var region spanning both Provence and the French Riviera. It occupies 25 acres of grounds, with 86 rooms and suites, including two signature suites and one Duplex villa with three bedrooms and a private swimming pool. Château de La Messardière's history dates back to 1904 when the palace was built as a wedding gift for the famous horseman Henry Brisson de La Messardière and young artist, Louise Dupuy d'Anjeac.

In 2021, Château de La Messardière joined the Airelles brand after two years of renovation work. LA BASTIDE, GORDES
Defined by its Palace classification, Airelles Gordes, La Bastide is the gem of the idyllic village in Provence. The 18th Century hotel is home to over 2,000 paintings and features period furniture, antiques and artistic artefacts that have been sourced from the most prestigious antique dealers. Each of the 40 suites or rooms has its own decor, belongings, and history, while the private 5 bedroomed La Maison de Constance, is an intimate residence with all the amenities of the Provençal Luxury Hotel as well as a private pool.

There are a total of five restaurants – two restaurants at the hotel and three located in the village centre. Clover Gordes is the brainchild of the highly revered two-Michelin starred chef, Jean-François Piège, offering a family-style culinary experience born out of the best local produce. Mediterranean and French dishes are served in L'Orangerie, while fresh pizza, antipasti and salads are available at the trattoria-style, La Bastide de Pierres, located in the village. Le TIGrr is where Asia meets Provence. The restaurant and bar boasts the best terrace in the region with spectacular sunsets over the entire valley and the Alpilles. La Bastide's Ladurée Café, which opened last summer, completes the hotel's restaurant offer.
