get lost Magazine has won gold at the International Tourism Film Festival in Africa. The film Calling K'gari Home was written and shot by Tim Charody as part of a longer feature in edition 11. With K'gari only recently changing its name from Fraser Island, Tim's story takes us on a hike through the lesser trodden rainforest that blankets the middle of the world's largest sand island. We meet traditional landowners and learn the story behind the name change while experiencing the incredible beauty of K'gari.

Judges described Calling K'gari Home as a "wildly inspiring and informative feature that took the viewers on an incredible journey. Beautifully shot and very entertaining."
