The Italian National Tourist Board is pleased to share a whole host of new openings across Italy in 2024 from hotels, bars and restaurants, as well as several new flights to Italy from London.

Borgo dei Conti Resort (5*) in Perugia, Umbria

Hotel Roma Antica – Radisson Collection (5*) in Rome

Anglo American Hotel (4*) in Florence

Antico Sipario Boutique Hotel (3*) – in Umbria
The Antico Sipario is a new boutique hotel that has restored an old medieval palazzo in the centre of the historic village of Paciano, just a few kilometres from Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The building, which was a cultural centre and small theatre throughout the last century, had fallen into disrepair. However, it has now been given a new lease on life. There are eight rooms available that are dedicated to the history of theatre.
Faro Capel Rosso (5*) – in Isola del Giglio, off the Tuscany coast
The austere simplicity of the Lighthouse's rooms evokes its past. Even today it is possible to appreciate the original stone of the floors, the wooden beams, the granite. A magical atmosphere and the perfect combination of relaxation and nature. The rooms of the lighthouse have been restored maintaining the original charm and elegance. Some original furnishings, such as the military beds of the time, have been restored and put back into use.
Ruby Bea Hotel & Bar (4*) – in Florence
Set in a porticoed building overlooking a grand, tree-lined square, Ruby Bea draws inspiration from the artists, thinkers and writers of the Italian Renaissance. Each room at Ruby Bea is a haven of luxury and calmness. The hotel is located on the edge of the historic city centre. Palazzo Petrvs (5*) – in Umbria
Situated in Orvieto and with Duomo Orvieto reachable within 100 metres, Palazzo Petrvs is a new boutique hotel bringing a fifteenth-century aristocratic palazzo in the heart of Orvieto back to its former splendour.

Giardino Cordusio Bar Lounge in Milan

Ristorante Sintesi (1 Michelin Star) in Ariccia, Castelli Romani
The Sintesi restaurant was born in Ariccia and it showcases the food and wine journey from the region, bringing an ethical concept to the tables. A modern, welcoming restaurant whose motto “Tradition & Innovation” perfectly sums up its cuisine. The wine list changes with the seasons and the menu.
