Normandy Tourism is pleased to announce its collaboration with Brighton Fringe 2024, presenting the Normandy Weekend from May 24th to May 26th.
Brighton Fringe, recognized as England's largest arts festival, attracts over half a million attendees annually throughout the month of May. The festival, spanning various venues across Brighton, including the sponsored venue Fool's Paradise, showcases a diverse range of performances, exhibitions, and events.
Fool's Paradise, located south of St. Peter's Church, near the North Laine district, will serve as the focal point for the Normandy Weekend. Managed by the Australian troupe Head First Acrobats, Fool's Paradise offers a unique setting with two domes hosting a variety of entertainment.
The Normandy Weekend, scheduled for May 24th to 26th, will feature a series of events including free food tastings, cabaret shows, DJ sets, and live performances.
One of the weekend's highlights will be the free concerts by Dieppe band For the Hackers on top of their solar-powered vintage bus!
On Friday and Saturday, Normandy cabaret troupe 'La Sirène à Barbe' (The Bearded Mermaid) will be joined by Herwan Legaillard, semi-fanalist of the famous 'America's Got Talent' TV show. Hailing from Cherbourg, Herwan combines acrobatic and aerial skills with sword swallowing, delivering eye-popping performances!
This collaboration coincides with the bank holiday weekend, enhancing the potential for a significant turnout. Additionally, Normandy's accessibility from Newhaven via ferry provides attendees with convenient travel options.
