East London's Elondi Terrace and NUET Bring a Taste of Scandinavia's Endless Summer Nights to London

Hyatt Regency London Stratford

East London's glamorous Elondi Terrace has announced an exciting summer partnership with NUET Aquavit to bring a cool taste of Scandinavia to London's long, hot summer nights.

An expressive menu of cocktails featuring NUET Dry Aquavit and NUET Aquavit Toddy launched this week, perfect for enjoying al-fresco on this gorgeous, spacious summer terrace.

Choose to sip from Balder's Cup, (the Norse God of innocence) for an utterly divine combination of floral, citrus and spice notes. Or dive deep into Loki's Trick (Norse God of mischief and deception) for a long, bittersweet affair. Freyr's Spritz is a sweet, sparkling cocktail and suits its ruler – Freyr, the Norse God of peace and fertility. Expect a heady kick from Thor's Hammer (Norse God of thunder and lightning) or go for the Nuet & Tonic for an angelic, more simple profile.

Aquavit has been a Scandinavian secret since 1531. NUET Dry Aquavit was developed specifically for cocktails and is the perfect profile for building summery drinks. It is a smooth and citrusy aquavit, with no sugar or artificial flavourings that combines the traditional Norwegian potato base-spirit and caraway (from beautiful Inderøy) with innovative botanicals like grapefruit peel, blackcurrants, orris root and angelica seeds. Whereas NUET Aquavit Toddy was painstakingly hand-made with Norwegian apples and blackcurrants, figs, pink pepper and NUET Dry Aquavit.

The Elondi X NUET partnership extols the virtues of the innovative Scandinavian lifestyle, reflecting the region's endless summer evenings with more than a splash of mindfulness from 'NUET' which means “the now”. From the often-used phrase “lev i nuet” which means “live life in the now” in Scandinavian. It's going to be one of the top al-fresco summer hotspots for 2024.

Open all summer round, summer-lovers can embrace the sunny season in this stylish yet enchanting atmosphere. Located on the third floor of the world-class Hyatt Hotels London Stratford, the Elondi Terrace offers an all-weather proof outdoor oasis with seating for 50 and standing for 100.

Celebrate an endless summer out of the sight of onlookers, yet conveniently accessible via London's Jubilee, Central and Elizabeth Lines, as well as the DLR (Docklands Light Railway), London Overground and TfL Rail.

Those wishing for a complete Scandinavian Midsommar experience will love the bespoke NUET cocktail, canapes and flower crown building class on June 22nd. Tickets for an unforgettable summer night are for sale via Event Brite.
