London (10 April, 2024) – World Nomads, a leading global travel insurance provider, has announced its annual launch of its search for three aspiring travel content creators for the 15th edition of its scholarship programme.
This year three young content creators will win a trip to Thailand between 14-24 June 2024 to learn from pro travel creators NOMADasaurus to create content about Thailand for a real-life brief.
The scholarship offers an exclusive opportunity for three budding content creators to embark on a potentially career-changing journey. Under the mentorship of travel content creators NOMADasaurus, participants will receive personalised guidance in Bangkok, Thailand, before embarking on a six-day solo expedition to various locations across the country. This immersive experience aims to kickstart recipients' careers in content creation.
Previous scholarship recipients such as Jarryd Salem of NOMADasaurus, have achieved remarkable success. With half a million monthly readers on their travel blog and extensive features in media outlets such as National Geographic and BBC, Jarryd and his partner Alesha epitomise the potential of the scholarship programme. Other alumni have gone on to contribute to prominent platforms like Lonely Planet and TruTravels.

Applications are open until Wednesday 1 May, and aspiring creators are encouraged to submit their best, public-facing travel content for consideration. Candidates cannot be professional content creators, they must be over 18 and no more than 25% of their current income can be generated from content creation. Each winner will receive mentorship and prizes worth in the region of £4,000, generously sponsored by partners such as GoPro, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Avani Hotels and Resorts, and travel gear from Eagle Creek.
