MELBOURNE – Rydges Melbourne has partnered with Mike Snell Entertainment to create Rhapsody at Rydges, an exclusive three-night cabaret and dining extravaganza held at Rydges Melbourne from Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th June 2024.
An enchanting fusion of dining and world-class performances from Mike Snell, Stephen Mahy and Sarah C, Rhapsody at Rydges is a celebration of timeless and contemporary musical legends, expertly curated to transport guests through eras of charm and excitement.
Mike Snell, famous for his work in 'The Boy from Oz', 'Wicked' and a succession of musicals, is known locally as the ultimate performer at prestigious events including the Melbourne Cup and Oaks Day.
Snell shares his vision for the show: "Our goal with 'Rhapsody at Rydges' is to create a night of pure enjoyment, blending the charm of classic icons with the energy of contemporary legends. This event is about having fun, creating memories, and delivering a multi-sensory experience that will resonate with our diverse audience."
The Act One pays homage to the Rat Pack era, featuring the classic allure of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Liza Minnelli. The Act Two seamlessly transitions into a contemporary celebration, featuring hits from Tina Turner, Elton John, Whitney Houston, and more. Throughout the evening, guests will indulge in a luxurious three-course dinner, complementing the stunning performances.
