Quotes attributable to Chief Executive Officer, Tourism and Events Queensland, Patricia O’Callaghan:
“We want Aussie families to be able to take that Queensland holiday even though times are tough and that’s why we, together with our partners My Queensland, dreamed up the Festival of Free.
“Kids can fly free these great holiday packages, plus options to stay, play and eat free, which will bring welcome relief to Aussies families but also bolster tourism businesses around the state – many of whom are small family businesses themselves.
“What’s more, if you don’t have kids, there’s also deals available for you too.
“This is the latest in a string of campaigns we’ve launched this year to keep Queensland top of mind in what is no doubt an incredibly competitive global travel marketplace. Queensland is Australia’s number one holiday destination and we are laser-focused on holding that strong position.”
