The leading global event connecting the travel industry and the media celebrated its 11th Year with a packed two-day event at London's QEII Centre.
Provisional figures for IMM 2024 which finished today reveal that over 400 check-ins to the event from media and influencers were recorded over the show's two days – an IMM record.
The show (www.travmedia.com/immuk/) is the UK's leading event for the media and took place from 19-20 Feb.
Over 315 journalists had registrations approved for this year's IMM, together with 85 influencers. Some 233 PR professionals attended, representing 160 brands, accounting for 155 stands. Collectively delegates booked over 15,000 meetings for the show, TravMedia's twelfth IMM and eighth at the QEII.
Significant regional delegations are France (30 stands), USA (34), Europe (28), Canada (12), UK (11), Australia (7), and the Caribbean (4). The show is welcoming Tour Operators/Travel Providers (11), Cruise Lines (2), Hotel Groups (9) and others.
IMM's sponsors are Cayman Islands (Reusable Water Bottle Sponsor); VisitEngland (Registration Desk & Lanyards Sponsor); Tourism Australia (Day Two Drinks Reception Sponsor), and Visit Detroit (Day Two Lunch Sponsor) who wowed delegates with an outstanding activation involving Detroit music and food.
Now in its 12th year in the UK, IMM is established as the must-attend annual event for travel and tourism brands to make media connections, nurture established relationships, and catch up with industry friends.
“The combination of IMM and Summit delivered for us, and we believe this was the best show ever. The percentage of delegates with meetings was at nearly 100% at most times was thrilling to see and you could touch the energy!
“In addition, we were delighted by the diversity and quality of destinations and media in attendance. IMM is evolving to suit our audience's demands. We can't wait for next year!”
TravMedia UK launched IMM in 2013. The event has evolved globally to become the world's leading show connecting the travel industry with the media. IMM is operated by TravMedia, the global network connecting the travel industry with the media and content creators.
