2024 promises to be an exciting year in the Territory with a number of Yukon operators launching thrilling new products including a new immersive indigenous weekend tour, a new ski-lodge for cross-country skiers, thrilling motorcycle adventures, fat and e-bike hire and dog mushing lessons.

Tutchone Tours announces new indigenous immersive weekend experience

Discover the rich First Nations history and culture on this fun filled weekend of camping, storytelling and exploration. Learn about the local wildlife that spreads along the banks of the mighty Yukon River and disconnect in the wilderness. Highlights include a one hour canopy covered boat ride with the opportunity to spot Dahl Sheep, Moose, Bald Eagles, and other wildlife, a guided tour of Fort Selkirk (a former trading post), listening to the stories of the Northern Tutchone people, and participating in an Indigenous beading class, all whilst tasting First Nations cuisine throughout. New Yukon Ski Lodge for cross-country skiers opens in Whitehorse

Yukon Ski Lodge has just opened in Whitehorse, and is a small family operated ski-in ski-out lodge nestled in the boreal forest. Centrally located in the heart of the city, the lodge offers pristine wilderness on the doorstep. Situated on the traditional territories of the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation, the lodge takes great pride in its idyllic location and honours the natural environment it resides in. Surrounded by towering treelines, mountain views and an endless number of outdoor activities, guests can access cross-country ski trails and snowshoeing directly from the lodge. In summer, hiking, trail running and mountain biking await. Yukon Ski Lodge is owned and operated by Jonathan Kerr, Kristenn Magnusson and their two boys, Charles and Benson and offers four guest rooms, each with a queen-sized bed and en suite bathroom.

Tombstone Moto Adventures lanches Yukon motorcycle trips:

Home to some of the best adventure motorcycling in the world, visitors can now explore the scenic beauty of the Yukon from the seat of a brand new Yamaha Tenere 700 and venture into the wilderness through hidden routes. Motorcycle enthusiasts can journey up the iconic Dempster Highway or along the Canol Road, constructed during WWII to supply air fields and other equipment along the Alaska Highway. Beyond Expeditions' NEW full day mushing tour

This brand new tour from Beyond Expeditions isn't just a ride with a pack of Yukon huskies, it is a full day immersion into the world of mushing. All tours are personalised and visitors will get to know the dogs personally, ride the trail with them for four - six hours, and learn about their amazing abilities while travelling between 25km - 35km. Visitors will leave feeling they have a real understanding of what being a musher is all about. The tour costs from £220 ($375) per person and includes a classic Yukon lunch over a campfire.

Icycle Sports now offers e-bike and fat bikes

Visitors to the Yukon's capital Whitehorse can now hire bikes in any season with Icycle Sports. Following the addition of the ultimate go-anywhere fat bike the Trek Farley 5 bikes to its fleet, guests can now cover the Yukon's snowy terrain in the winter or hire e-bikes in the summer. Rental charges start from £24 ($38.99) for a half day (four-hour rental), £47 ($79.99) for a full day (24 hour) or £129 ($219.99) for three days (72 hours).
