New Scientist Discovery Tours, a provider of science inspired tours, expeditions, weekenders, and cruises will be exhibiting for the first time ever at IMM in 2024.

New Scientist Discovery Tours launched 23 new tours and experiences in 2024, spanning space, geology, history, archaeology, nature and marine life, designed for guests with curious minds and an appetite for expanding their knowledge while travelling.

The company has chosen IMM to meet the media face-to-face to discuss press trip opportunities, science-backed data stories, and interview opportunities with New Scientist Discovery Tours' roster of academics, experts, guides, and custodians.

New Scientist Discovery Tours recently found that geology tours, rewilding trips, and following in the footsteps of scientific heroes are expected to be the most popular ways to travel for curious-minded explorers in 2024, with over 50 tours and experiences currently on their books to satisfy inquisitive travellers.

Kevin Currie, Director of New Scientist Discovery Tours, says, “Since the start of 2022, we have had to increase tour capacity in order to meet the rising demand for our science-inspired tours, expeditions, weekenders, and cruises.

“Between 2022 to 2023, we increased the capacity of our geology-focused tours almost five-times over, while our nature-focused tours increased 450% and science hero-related tours doubled.”
