Escorted tour specialist Newmarket Holidays has launched a new adventure exploring New England and Canada, which the operator says is the first to discover North America's autumn colours by sea and shore.

New England & Canada Fall Colours' Cruise is a 14-day group trip that starts with a city break in Boston, New England's largest city, with the option of a tour to discover the city's most famous landmarks.

Guests then enjoy the luxury of a full-board cruise along the North American coast on-board the Holland America Line ship, Zuiderdam, with four ports of call including Maine, Charlottetown and Québec City and the chance to join guided excursions in each location.

The holiday finishes with a scenic journey through Canada's beautiful Eastern Townships, and on to New England and New Hampshire's White Mountains, following a mountain pass to the Kancamagus Highway for uninterrupted views of soaring maples, aspens and cedars in an unforgettable palette of reds, golds, purples and browns.

Prices start from £3,899 per person and include return flights, five nights' hotel accommodation, seven nights' full-board cruise accommodation, flights, transfers and excursions, with September and October departures in 2024 and 2025.
