Fraser Coast Films has started filming its second movie on K'gari (formerly Fraser Island), He Loves Me Not. The romantic comedy is the story of an aspiring actor, chosen as a wild card for a reality TV dating show on K'gari, who uses a secret elixir to win the heart of the reality show star.

The star studded line up, including Rhiannon Fish, Lincoln Lewis and Georgie Parker, couldn't be happier with their filming location.

“You just couldn't imagine a better spot, when we were just sitting on the beach at Lake McKenzie, going can you believe we get to work here! It was one of those moments, a real pinch me kind of moment,” said actor Lincoln Lewis.

Rhiannon became a household name in Australia in her late teens when she starred as April Scott in Home and Away and she has become known worldwide for her role as Ontari in The 100. Fish has gone on to have a successful career in feature films, booking lead roles in US productions and her 2022 film, The Christmas Retreat, where she stars as Kim Jones, is one of the most streamed films of the year. Rhiannon has starred as the lead in over twelve films in 2021 and 2022.

“I call Australia home even though I am from Canada, but if feels like home here so I am just thrilled to come home to work but also to take these movies back over to the states, it's very cool to see an Australian film recognised in the states,” said Fish.

Lincoln Lewis is an established Australian actor who appeared on Home and Away from 2007 to 2010, also starring in the film adaptation of Tomorrow, When the War Began which was released worldwide in 2010.

Following this, Lewis became a regular on Australian TV, with roles in Neighbours, Underbelly: Razor, House Husbands, SLiDE, Gallipoli, Tricky Business, Rescue: Special Ops, as well as making appearances as himself on Dancing with the Stars, Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation, Hell's Kitchen Australia, and Australia's Next Top Model.

For the last three years, Lewis has been a regular presenter on Channel 9's Getaway where he has travelled to worldwide destinations.
