British holidaymakers looking to escape and enjoy the festive season abroad this year should look no further than Spain.  Paradores Hotels & Restaurants offers a variety of Christmas and New Year packages to allow guests to celebrate in some of the most beautiful settings on the Iberian Peninsula.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Paradores offers an authentically Spanish Christmas experience that will keep all guests, young and old, feeling festive. Celebrations start on Christmas Eve when guests can enjoy a traditional festive feast, showcasing regionally inspired menus and products. After sleeping soundly in unique and historic surroundings, guests then begin their Christmas day in style with a Paradores breakfast in bauble-laden dining areas; followed by the possibility of exploring the areas surrounding the hotel ranging from historic cities, natural parks and snow laden valleys.

Paradores offers the Christmas Eve package starting at £140 per person based on two people sharing on a half-board basis on 24 December.

NEW YEAR'S EVE

Available on a 1, 2 or 3-night basis from 29 December – 1 January, Paradores offers an unforgettable way to see in the New Year. On New Year's Eve itself, guests can savour the delights of a specially curated New Years menu followed by the option to dress up, dance and enjoy an open bar. Just before the clock strikes 12, Paradores invites guests to welcome 2024 in utmost Spanish tradition – offering guests the chance to eat a grape for every strike of the clock until midnight. For guests lucky enough to eat all the grapes in time, next year is sure to bring prosperity and good luck.

Paradores offers New Year's Eve packages starting at £180 per person based on two people sharing on a half-board basis on 31 December, or £230 inclusive of drinks, costumes and dance entry. Additional packages also available on a 2- and 3-night basis from 29 December – 1 January starting at £300 and £650 respectively at select hotels.

A FREE STAY IN 2024

Guests looking to stay at a Parador over the New Year can also look forward to more Spanish adventures in 2024. When reserving the New Year's Package before 12 November, Paradores offers a voucher to book a free night stay at select Parador hotels between 7 January and 29 February in 2024.
