The world-famous Three Chimneys has launched a series of new culinary masterclasses on the Isle of Skye this winter.

Foodies are being enticed to this original croft house to immerse themselves in real authenticity and the magic of Skye's natural larder, including the best local produce from the land and the sea.

The renowned restaurant with rooms is staging the new series of 'Seafood & Game Masterclasses' to offer guests the rare opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and learn about the island's culinary traditions and flavours with The Three Chimneys' kitchen brigade.

This unique foodie experience isn't just about tantalising your tastebuds; it's about honouring sustainability, camaraderie, and the collective stories of local crofters, growers, brewers, and fishermen on the Isle of Skye.

Head chef Scott Davies will be leading the ultimate hands-on cooking experiences for pre-booked overnight guests on selected dates between Friday 3rd November 2023 and Wednesday 31st January 2024.

The three-hour 'Seafood & Game Masterclass' offers guests an unparalleled culinary journey, where they'll craft their own sumptuous three-course lunch under expert guidance, gain valuable culinary insights for festive dining, and receive exclusive seasonal recipes to replicate at home, all while capturing the essence of Skye.

The game masterclass will celebrate red deer from the esteemed Armadale, Glendale and Orbost estates, as well as pheasant, partridge and mallard from the neighbouring Isle of Lewis.

Seafood dishes will include the freshest langoustines and crab from the pristine waters of Loch Dunvegan, as well as double-dived Sconser scallops from Loch Sligachan.

Nestled on the shores of Loch Dunvegan with the dramatic backdrop of the Duirinish peninsula of Skye, lies the iconic and world-renowned Three Chimneys Restaurant and The House Over-By with its choice of six guest rooms.  The landscapes and seascapes of Skye encapsulate the autumn and winter seasons on this mystical isle, which is brimming with historic castles, lighthouses, beaches, fishing ports and distilleries.

The five-star AA restaurant also has three AA Rosettes and is included in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2023.

The Three Chimneys' new 'Seafood & Game Masterclass' must be pre-booked and are available exclusively for overnight guests on selected dates between Friday 3rd November 2023 and Wednesday 31st January 2024. Each masterclass is priced at £120 per person, including a bespoke wine pairing experience.

To ensure an intimate and personalised experience, each masterclass will have a maximum of 12 participants. Attendees will be divided into rotating groups of four, allowing for focused interaction and instruction with Chef Scott and The Three Chimneys' kitchen brigade. This format not only promotes a deeper engagement with the culinary process, but also encourages camaraderie among guests.

A two-night 'Wee Winter Break' at The Three Chimneys and The House Over-by includes overnight accommodation and breakfast for two guests in one of six beautifully appointed rooms from £305 per night, with dinner available in the restaurant on the fixed price four-course menu priced at £95 per person.
