- Three classes of travel: Pullman Style Dining, First Class & Premium Standard
- New elevated dining led by Executive Chef, Nicholas Allen
The Steam Dreams Rail. Co, the provider of unique and magical steam train journeys, launches its quintessential Garden of England Lunchtime Tour through Kent this month.
Starting with its inaugural departure on Thursday, 22nd June through to 29th August 2023, the lunch tour will depart from London's Victoria Station at 10:00 for a five-hour journey, returning at 15:00.
A new route for 2023, this picturesque tour hauled by the iconic Mayflower 61306, will steam out of London before reaching the Kent countryside with its breath-taking landscapes. The train will then cut eastward through the North Downs and head towards the North Kent coast before descending to meet the South Coast at Dover and steaming beneath the famous White Cliffs alongside the English Channel before turning northwards for the return to London.
Juliet Soley from Steam Dreams commented: 'We are very excited to be launching this stunning new summer route through some of the most beautiful countryside England has to offer.'
Soley added: 'Passengers love the nostalgic experience travelling by steam train affords. This coupled with its luxurious interiors reminiscent of a bygone era, locally sourced menus with an exciting array of dishes (for those choosing the dining option) and stunning scenery makes for a magical day out, creating memories to last a lifetime.'
Visitors can choose to travel in one of three classes of travel: Pullman Style Dining, First Class and Premium Standard.
