OMO3 Asakusa will open its doors to guests on Monday, 31 July 2023, marking the 15th property under the OMO brand by Hoshino Resorts. Situated in ultra-convenient locations, OMO is a city tourism hotel that enables travellers to explore the deep, urban culture of Japan's largest metropolises.

Designed for travellers that want to live like locals, OMO offers unique maps and curated tours at each of their Bases for guests to uncover culinary gems, locally loved establishments and have fun in ways they would never expect. The staff won't hesitate to tell you about the city they love from their own perspective and may even share a special story that no one else can tell.

OMO3 Asakusa will be no exception to the brand's philosophy. Located a 4-minute walk from Asakusa Station and a 1-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo's oldest temple, it offers abundant views of both the temple and Tokyo Skytree® throughout its premises.

Asakusa is a town where old and new attractions merge. Established as a major entertainment district during the Edo period, it is frequented during the day for its fusion of retro vibes reminiscent of old Japan and present-day local Tokyo.

Guests of OMO3 Asakusa can see a different side to Asakusa at night and in the early morning, thanks to guided tours at these times that reveal the old streets, unique dining options, and where the charm of the old town remains.

OMO3 Asakusa has a total of 98 rooms across eight different room types which will cater to different travelling needs and groups sizes. The Yose Twin Room is a special concept room which features red carpets and purple cushions like those used on the stage of Yose, a symbolic form of traditional Japanese theatre that was prevalent in Asakusa's entertainment industry.

The OMO Base on the top floor offers breathtaking views through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the grounds of the historic Senso-ji Temple to the west and Tokyo Skytree® to the east, creating an impressive contrast between the old and new icons of Tokyo. The OMO Base is also equipped with a round-the-clock Food & Drink Station where food and drinks can be purchased easily and savoured whilst watching the ever-evolving townscape of Asakusa.
