Following Indesign Media Group's successful relaunch in December 2022 of the first print issue of Luxury Travel Magazine, the company has released the latest issue, edition 83.
Readers are invited to 'dive into the unexpected' in the 196-page Autumn issue, featuring contributions from some of Australia's most respected travel writers, with content firmly focused on Luxury Travel's three core editorial pillars of Authenticity, Design and Sustainability.
The cover story, written by expert cruise writer Sally Macmillan, takes a deep dive into the best in luxury ocean and expedition cruising, including our pick of some of the most interesting voyages on offer to luxury travellers. Elsewhere, we take readers on authentic journeys through Thailand, Fiji, Copenhagen, Japan, Colorado, South Africa, Indonesia, Austria, Scotland and more.
With 10,500 issues in circulation, the magazine is also distributed through some of Australia's top luxury lodges and hotels including Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley, Saffire Freycinet, and select Baillie Lodges properties; as well as Air New Zealand Business Class lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth; and Qantas First and Business Class lounges in Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth and Sydney. Traffic to luxurytravelmag.com.au continues to grow since the brand's relaunch — now with 53,500 web users per month, 79,000 page views per month and 27,500 newsletter subscribers.
In this issue, we also share the revised categories and entry details for the return of the Luxury Travel Gold List Awards in 2023, now more closely aligned to reflect the modern luxury travel movement. The reader-voted and industry qualified awards will be announced in Sydney on 30 November, recognising the world's finest five-star resorts and hotels, experiences, cruises, airlines, premium tour operators and luxury travel advisors. We will be announcing soon a jury of more than 30 highly esteemed luxury travel professionals who have been selected to assist in the judging process.
“We have been overwhelmed with positive reader and industry feedback since our relaunch, with long-running fans of the magazine thrilled to see it return to market,” said Editor, Katrina Holden. “We are so excited to deliver another premium, luxe edition with this latest issue and are thankful to our new distribution partners. Both digitally and in print, we strive to bring our readers and audience the very latest in luxury travel around the world,” said Katrina.
The new Luxury Travel Magazine went on sale on 27 April, 2023
