April 2023, London: METT HOTELS & RESORTS has revealed details of its second lifestyle resort which will open on the pristine Marbella-Estepona shoreline in July 2023. This is set to change the face of relaxed luxury travel in the region by responding to the needs of a new class of travellers seeking enriching social experiences within a stunning natural environment and incredible dining. 

The beachfront 5-star lifestyle resort has been designed with connections and community at its core; destination, design, and dining have all been carefully selected to encourage conversations and social interaction with like minded travellers who expect that little bit extra to ignite their experience.

On entering the resort, guests are welcomed with an impressive lobby centred around an eight metre olive tree designed to encourage social interaction amongst guests, whilst the brand's signature scent of BAL Tropical by BOTANYC creates an atmosphere of ease, reminding us of the Mediterranean Riviera. Service style here and throughout is discreet yet precise and expectations are understood and satisfied. Each interaction comes with an open attitude that encourages enjoyment to flow as freely as the resort which slopes down towards the community pool and sea beyond. Sightlines are considered throughout to create a magnetic energy and sense of community.  

Inspired by the balanced bliss of Mediterranean living, design blends modern minimalism with easy living and Andalusian charm. Building materials and soft furnishings are chosen from natural, local, and sustainable resources wherever possible; expect elegant sea blues, warm natural wood, traditional terracotta tiles, relaxed linen fabrics and natural hand-woven accessories. The result: a sophisticated yet casual resort. 

The 249 rooms and suites are designed to be beautiful yet functional all with garden, sea or pool-facing views. For those who wish to be at the heart of the conversation, Lifestyle Pool Rooms can be booked in advance which have direct access to the Azure Beach Pool, providing immediate access to the hub of the resort. 

Dining is at the heart of the METT experience, and it has sculpted its philosophy with pleasure and memories in mind; believing that some of life's best moments are had whilst enjoying excellent food with excellent people. The brand gives as much attention to the food and drink as the design and flow of its space to encourage conversation between guests and staff so breakfast can turn into lunch with a new group of friends. The main hotel restaurant is Isola Ristorante Italiano – a modern Italian restaurant serving breakfast and a la carte dinner. The stunning Ammos restaurant will serve the freshest al fresco Greek food while overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Azure Beach brings all the experiences alive, sitting in the middle of the Resort and serving pool and beach side international favourites.
