Explore Rockhampton are proud to have partnered with Winning Moves Australia to create and release a customised Monopoly board game edition.

The “Amazing Animals in Queensland” edition features our very own Rockhampton Zoo and some of its iconic animals including our meerkats, chimpanzees, dingoes, Valkyrie the eagle and our white-cheeked gibbon.

To mark the launch, the animals at Rockhampton Zoo were given first roll of the dice celebrating this exciting addition with some special Monopoly treats during their enrichment activities this week.

Monopoly has been a household name for more than 85 years, and the cause of fun debate in many Australian homes so it is exciting to have Rockhampton Zoo featured on such an iconic family board game.

Showcasing the unique Rockhampton Zoo animals in a board game as iconic as Monopoly puts the Rockhampton Region at the forefront of player's minds, highlighting the unexpected and incredible tourism products and experiences we have to offer.

The “Amazing Animals Queensland” limited edition Monopoly board game will be available for $60.00 and the Top Trumps card set for $10.00. You will find them at Rockhampton Zoo via the Gardens Tea Rooms, the Explore Rockhampton Visitor Information Centre and the Rockhampton Heritage Village gift shop while stocks last.
