Penzance has been named one of the best places to live in the UK by The Sunday Times, as well as being voted the Best Place to Live in Cornwall in the Muddy Cornwall 'Best Places to Live' 2023 awards.

The coastal town in the far west of Cornwall has been recognized for its natural beauty, lively arts scene, and friendly community. The Sunday Times praised Penzance for its stunning coastline, unique architecture, and diverse cultural offerings. The Sunday Times Best Places to Live list is an annual survey that assesses the quality of life in towns and cities across the UK. The survey considers factors such as employment opportunities, crime rates, schools, transport links, and cultural amenities.

 Penzance was selected as one of the top places to live in the UK by a panel of judges who assessed various data sets and carried out extensive research. The town's affordable property prices, excellent schools, and vibrant arts community were also highlighted as reasons for its inclusion in the list.

The Muddy Cornwall awards celebrate the very best places to live, work, and visit in the county, as voted for by readers of the popular lifestyle blog.
