Wendy Wu Tours, the UK's number one group touring specialist to China, have confirmed the first group tour to China on the 21 May 2023, the first UK tour group back to China in three years. The news comes as the Chinese government lift their embargo on issuing UK tourist visas, with a full resumption of the visa service now in play. Following close consultation and working hand in hand with the Chinese government and China National Tourism Association, in preparation for the full tourist reopening, Wendy Wu Tours, who carry the largest number of tourist groups to China from the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, have been given the green light by the Chinese government to take this first official group tour to China on the 21 May 2023, the first travel company back into China following a three year hiatus. This monumental departure for Wu's flagship, and most popular tour in the company's 25-year history, 16-day 'Wonders of China', departs 21 May 2023 and with demand at an all-time high, it's likely this tour will sell out in record time.

China's reopening, along with the resumption of UK tourist visas, ends a closure that was introduced three years ago, an important milestone that represents one of the final, and one of the most eagerly anticipated reopening's for international travel. To meet the exceptional demand, Wendy Wu Tours have also added additional capacity for tours throughout autumn 2023 and throughout 2024, with tours anticipated to sell out as quick as they go on sale.
