Australia says Come & Say G'Day at IMM 2023  | Over 300 media and almost 100 influencers registered for TravMedia's two-day show.

TravMedia has today announced Tourism Australia as Headline Sponsor of IMM 2023.

The headline sponsor announcement comes as Tourism Australia's global campaign, Come and Say G'day, is live in 15 key international tourism markets worldwide. The campaign, featuring Ruby, a CGI animated souvenir kangaroo voice by Australian actor Rose Byrne, reminds international travellers why 'There's Nothing Like Australia'.

Tourism Australia will be joined at IMM by six Australian State Tourism Organisations -  Destination NSW; The South Australia Tourism Commission; Tourism Western Australia; Tourism Northern Territory; Tourism & Events Queensland, and Visit Victoria. As part of its overall sponsorship Tourism Australia also hosts the official IMM Lunch on day one.

Now in its eleventh year, IMM (QEII Centre, 13-14 March 2023) is established as the leading global event connecting the travel industry and the media. Over 200 delegates representing almost 150 tourism and travel brands will attend London's flagship show (www.travmedia.com/immuk/). Over 300 media and 100 influencers are registered.

IMM features two days of pre-booked meetings with journalists at exhibitor stands, with influencer meetings and professional development sessions added to the mix on day two. Over 10,000 meetings have already been preferenced through IMM's Meetings Manager technology.

Sally Cope, Regional General Manager UK/Northern Europe at Tourism Australia said:

"Since Australia's borders reopened just over a year ago, the media and content creators have been an invaluable part of helping us to rebuild our tourism industry by telling our stories for us. As we now look ahead to the future, our support of IMM in London is a reflection of the value we see in supporting writers and content creators ongoing. IMM is a fantastic event for establishing and maintaining those relationships and we're thrilled to be a part of it this year.”

Said Henry Hemming, TravMedia UK's Managing Director: “We're thrilled that Australia has chosen IMM to say G'day in a big way to hundreds of journalists and influencers. We value Australia's participation in the show, year in and year out, and their sponsorship of IMM 2023 is the icing on the cake.”

IMM 2023's other sponsors are Israel Government Tourist Office (IMM Breakfast Sponsor day one); FlightCentre (IMM Evening Drinks Party Sponsor day one); Azerbaijan Tourism Board (IMM Breakfast Sponsor day two); Pure Michigan & Visit Detroit (IMM Lunch Sponsor day two); Princess Cruises (Water Bottle Sponsor) and VisitEngland (Registration Desk & Lanyards Sponsor).

Among the 300+ media registered for the show are journalists representing titles including Daily Mail, Guardian, The Independent, The Financial Times, The Sun, The Times, Daily Telegraph, Condé Nast Traveller, National Geographic Traveller, Lonely Planet, Wanderlust, County Life, Country & Townhouse, Fabulous, Forbes, BA Highlife, BBC Countryfile, Bradt Guides, Travel Weekly, and TTG.
