Wildfitness, which provides transformative fitness holidays, has announced its 2023 season of unforgettable retreats in Menorca filled with wild wellbeing, wild movement and gastronomic experiences.
With biophilic or 'green' exercise set to become a top fitness trend for 2023, the Wildfitness experience incorporates exercising against the beautiful backdrop of the Menorcan coastline designed to boost physical fitness, confidence and self-esteem and reduce stress levels.
While biophilic exercise is a growing fitness trend for 2023, Wildfitness began its mission to 're-wild' people and inspire them to return to their evolutionary origins since it was established in 2001.
There are three pillars to the Wildfitness philosophy: wild living which involves improving sleep and learning to listen to your body; wild food which prioritises eating in-season, fresh and organic produce; and wild movement which involves the use of the natural landscape as a 'gym'.
Instead of turning to dumbbells, exercise machines and the latest gadgets, Wildfitness encourages guests to lift heavy rocks, climb trees, run around playing games, hike the local hills and mountains and practice connecting to the earth by walking barefoot on the beach. For relaxation, guests can take advantage of a refreshing swim in the crystal waters of the sea, but also more gentle pursuits including cooking, mindset workshops, yoga and breathwork.
To kick off its 2023 season of retreats, Wildfitness has curated a holistic wellness programme in Menorca to help guests enjoy a wild adventure around the most natural and unspoilt of the Balearic Islands.

Guests will be able to enjoy a stay in a charming 18th century farmhouse on 300 acres of private land on the beautiful coastline of Menorca.
The retreat consists of a flexible programme of activity built around three to four movement sessions per day, including beach games to boxing, yoga to lifting, breathwork to hiking the famous Cami de Cavalls and much more. There's also a daily interactive educational workshop covering a range of topics connected to Wildfitness' founding philosophy. Topics include wild moving, living, eating and mindset.
With the farmhouse just 15 minutes from the beach, downtime can be spent swimming in the crystal waters of the Mediterranean, learning the ancient art of the Menorquin slingshot or simply relaxing with a complementary massage. There's always the option to have a dip in the farmhouse's private infinity pool, kick back with a book or wander into the local town.
Wildfitness offers guests the opportunity to enjoy personalised attention, with a tailored posture and movement assessment, and for those opting for the 13 day transformation retreat, a 1:1 personal training session.
All meals are prepared by Wildfitness' private chef who also hosts a group cooking lesson for guests. Meals include delicious natural, colourful and organic in season ingredients.
The Wildfitness experience includes a post retreat gift of tools such as instructional movement videos, recipes and more so guests can maintain their Wildfitness approach from home.
