There is more for you to discover beyond what goes bump in the night. To help you navigate this supernatural soirée, here is our Insider Guide to Knott's Scary Farm 2022.

Start your adventure off on the right note by purchasing discounted tickets courtesy of Visit Buena Park in collaboration with Knott's Berry Farm. Single night tickets purchased in advance online can save you up to $50 in comparison to main gate pricing. It's also key to plan ahead of time because certain nights can sell out in advance.
Plan Out Mazes
In 2022, guests will find nine morbid mazes to test their limits in. New experiences can be found with Bloodline 1842 and the Grimoire. Returning creeps include Mesmer: Sideshow of the Mind, Wax Works, Origins: The Curse of Calico, Pumpkin Eater, Dark Ride, The Depths, and Dark Entities.
Upgrade Your Experience
Skip the lines all night long with Fright & Fast Lane, an add-on to your purchased park ticket. Zoom from maze to maze with unlimited priority access. This add-on begins at $135 and varies dependent on the night of the week. All thrill rides will be open during the event.
Feast on a Foodie Extravaganza
For $45, Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant offers a buffet style dinner to enjoy prior to entering the haunt. Not only will your group begin the night will full bellies, but you will also have early access to select mazes and photo opportunities. Not to mention, the souvenir bottle that is included, which allows you unlimited refills the night of and $5 all-day refills each additional visit in 2022.
Knott's Scary Farm always boasts a long list of themed eats, treats, and beverages at locations throughout the park that are specific to their infamous haunt. Keep an eye out for their 2022 foodie guide that will be dropped prior to opening day.
Witness the Unleashing of the Monsters
Arrive early and you will have the chance to be part of Scary Farm's nightly opening ceremonies. Every night when the sun sets and it reaches time for the haunt to start, the monsters from your nightmares are unleashed at the entrance of Calico Ghost Town.
Meet Spooks at Every Turn
Aside from macabre mazes, scare zones are sprinkled throughout the park with characters who will do their best to make you tremble in fear. This year, the scare zones include: The Gore-ing 20's, Ghost Town Streets, CARNEVIL, The Hollow, and Forsaken Lake.
Take a Break from Screaming and Enjoy the Entertainment
A brand new addition to Scary Farm in 2022 is the Beyond the Fog Tour. This tour occurs during the daytime hours and allows you to venture into select Scary Farm attractions. Tickets are $79.99 and event admission is not included with this tour.
Into the Fog: A Scary Farm Tribute Art Show is another piece of entertainment that you should be sure to visit in between scares. Each piece of art was curated to depict the history of Scary Farm, which is celebrating its 49th year of thrills.
Pop in for a Seasonal Attraction Overlay
The classic Timber Mountain Log Ride is overlaid with Halloween Hootenanny each spooky season. The cryptids of Timber Mountain make appearances throughout the attraction as they join in on the fall festivities.
Take the Exclusive Beyond the Fog Tour
A brand new addition to Scary Farm in 2022 is the Beyond the Fog Tour. This tour occurs during the daytime hours and allows you to venture into select Scary Farm attractions. Tickets are $79.99 and event admission is not included with this tour.
Conquer Beach Boulevard Traffic
Standard parking for cars and motorcycles is $25. But make sure you arrive early because Beach Boulevard can experience heavy traffic with guests on their way to Scary Farm. One way to avoid the traffic is to stay at one of the many hotels on Beach Boulevard that are within walking distance to the park. The Knott's Berry Farm hotel itself offers several Stay and Scare packages that includes Scary Farm admission, hotel stay, and other offerings.
Keep Policies in Mind
On Friday through Sunday, a chaperone policy is in place at Knott's Scary Farm. Under the chaperone policy, all general park guests ages 17 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to the park. The chaperone must present a valid photo ID with date of birth. One chaperone may accompany no more than four guests ages 17 or younger per day.
Chaperones must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay. Guests ages 17 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection.
In addition, a bag policy is implemented for Knott's Scary Farm. Guests will not be permitted to bring bags larger than 6.5” x 4.5” x 2” into the park, including purses, backpacks, or diaper. All bags will be searched prior to entry.
