An incredible new light trail aglow with a 30-metre-long Christmas Cathedral awaits visitors to Roundhay Park in Leeds between 8 December 2022 and 1 January 2023.

The family-friendly festive trail, which is choreographed to the sound of yuletide music, will be lighting up the skies using more than 150 candles each night and over 1km of festoon to light the paths as visitors walk round

For its first year at Roundhay Park the illuminated light trail has some impressive statistics:

• Visitors will walk through a 30-metre-long Christmas Cathedral.
• 5km of neon string will be wrapped between the trees to create stark geometric shapes
• 18 giant water Lilies by Jigantics will be floating on the water
• The stunning Castle folly will feature a flickering fire garden.
• 14 Antares Stars will sparkle overhead

Christmas at Roundhay Park offers friends and family the chance to create everlasting memories, wandering between striking light installations all carefully choreographed to a soundtrack of much-loved festive music. 

From the flickering fire garden, wild wicker sculptures to magical and whimsical light creations, it's 'instant Christmas' providing picture perfect moments all the way.

Independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist with tasty treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with a *spiced winter warmer or *hot chocolate shared with friends and family. Everyone loves toasting a marshmallow over an open fire and the artisan *marshmallow stall gives visitors the chance to warm their hands and enjoy this sweet outdoor tradition.
