New Rarebits Collection introduced at World Travel Market
Nearly 100 places to stay across Wales
UK Inbound Stand UK1200, Pod 5
Welsh Rarebits Hotels of Distinction, Great Little Places and Rare Hideaways have rebranded and come together under the new Rarebits Collection banner. Together they offer nearly 100 quality places to stay across Wales ranging from luxury spa hotels and traditional inns to B&Bs, farmhouses, self-catering holiday homes and glamping sites. There's even a restaurant with rooms on a vineyard.
As every member is handpicked, quality checked and independently owned, they are all different but each must meet certain criteria for acceptance into the Collection. They must offer a high degree of excellence with comfortable, quality accommodation, stylish decor and great Welsh hospitality as well as a personal welcome and fine food and drink, where provided.
The Hotels of Distinction within Wales will now be marketed as Welsh Rarebits under the Rarebits Collection group branding; cosy B&Bs and boutique boltholes, which came under Great Little Places, have been rebranded as Great Little Rarebits and the self-catering cottages, lodges and glamping sites as Hideaway Rarebits, previously Rare Hideaways.
A single, more contemporary style website, www.rarebits.co.uk now incorporates the three brands making it far easier to search for a suitable place to stay across the entire Collection.
Delighted with the new branding, Mike Morgan, Rarebits Collection Director said; “It transpired that the challenges presented by the pandemic also gave us a unique opportunity. We were able to take some time to reset and reposition our collection of amazing boutique places to stay as a perfect fit for the new generation of inbound and domestic travellers. I have always believed that our brand pillars of excellance, provenance, independence and ambience will shine through, these are what makes our membership stand out. Our latest iteration of genuine Rarebits hospitality, celebrating the differences and showing the UK and overseas market what Wales has to offer, sets us up for a bright fourth decade.”
Founded over 30 years ago, membership is by invitation only ensuring consistent high quality and attention to-detail, including those small touches that add up to so much. To be a Rarebit, members should be one-off gems, amongst the best in their class and chosen because they are places which guests will always remember fondly. Food and drink, where offered, is an important element of their membership, preferably locally sourced but always prepared to the highest standards.
To book a stay with a member of the Rarebits Collection visit www.rarebits.co.uk or call 01570 470785.
Guests can sign up to receive regular offers and discounts and join a loyalty scheme to collect Rare Reward points to put towards a future trip. Gift vouchers and a free Welsh Rarebits printed brochure are also available.
