Banyan Group

To celebrate the hotel brand's 22nd year, Angsana presents an exciting rollout of signature experiences and stay giveaways in participating hotels worldwide.

Dubbed 22 Years of Angsana Moments, Angsana reintroduces signature experiences categorised into five different “senses”: Sense the Magic, Sense the Present, Sense the Place, Sense the History and Sense the Connection.

The anniversary campaign runs for five weeks from 13 July to 17 August 2022. Each week, audiences from anywhere in the world can participate in giveaways and stand a chance to win a complimentary stay at any of the 14 global Angsana properties using the hashtag #22YearsAngsana Giveaways. A total of 140 room nights will be up for grabs to lucky winners.

Turning 22 years old in 2022, Angsana's brand essence of 'Sense the Moment' is expressed through chic and authentic style, in vibrant, fun-filled environments. Signature experiences cater to families, couples and friends across a dynamic portfolio of xx properties across xx countries. The brand is inspired by the Angsana tree: a tall, tropical rainforest tree with fragrant, golden flowers that bloom unexpectedly for a day, then shower the earth with yellow petals the next morning. A reminder for all of us to embrace each moment and live, today.

Revisit & Explore Angsana Moments

Sense The Magic

As part of Asia's first integrated resort, Angsana Laguna Phuket has something for everyone as the property boasts sparkling beaches with pristine waters, perfect for water sports or simply lounging by the sea. Adults can pick up a new skill in Thai boxing, wind surfing, or yoga, while kids are entertained with a plethora of fun activities at the Kids' Club, under complimentary supervised care.

Located near the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Imperial Citadel of Hue and the charming Hoi An ancient town, Angsana Lang Co has plenty to offer travellers with a penchant for local culture. The resort offers on-site classes for guests to learn how to make recycled paper, or the regional Vietnamese noodle dish bun bo hue, as well as jungle hikes or excursions to explore local fishing villages and lagoons on a traditional basket boat.

Sense the Present

Ganesh Chaturthi is an annual 10-day Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Ganesa, that usually takes place around August and September in India, where Angsana Bangalore is located. During this period, idols are carried in a long procession and immersed in water, while artists from around the world gather to inject vibrancy by performing and showcasing their work.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town in Penang is a destination rich in history, heritage, and delicious local fare – enough to cater to any guest at Angsana Teluk Bahang. The city's thriving multiculturalism means never being short of exciting experiences and colourful celebrations to participate in, such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Thaipusam, and a nine-day Taoist holiday known as the Nine Emperor Gods' Festival.

Sense the Place

The crystal clear waters of Angsana Velavaru are home to beautiful underwater life, and guests can enjoy them during a guided snorkelling safari, or help protect them by planting coral at the Marine Lab. The property's reef restoration programme creates artificial reefs that function the same way as natural ones, providing safe habitats for small and juvenile reef fish.

The Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is the first ethical elephant sanctuary in Phuket, where elephants roam freely amid a 30-acre lush tropical jungle. Guests of Angsana Laguna Phuket can observe these gentle giants and get up close to feed them fresh pineapples and bananas.

Sense the Connection

Corfu island's secret olive tree variation can be found at the Mavroudis Museum Olive Mill, a traditional family-owned mill just 20 minutes away from Angsana Corfu. The estate grows over 2,000 olive trees, so families can taste their fresh award-winning olive oil with homemade bread and local delicacies, or try their hand at olive oil pressing.

Exploring the natural beauty of Mauritius can be done in a myriad of fun ways – on land via quad, buggy, or Segway, or via a glass-bottom boat en route to Turtle Bay Marine Park, just 3km away from Angsana Balaclava Mauritius, while watching colourful corals and fish pass by below.

Sense the History

The Jemaa el-Fna Square in Marrakesh is recognised as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, and just steps away from Riads Marrakesh, Angsana Heritage Collection in Morocco. At the Place des Epices nearby, merchants hawk spices, soaps, and perfumes, while narrow alleys and passageways lead to the carpet souk that sells rugs made by the country's indigenous tribes.

Sikil P'aak is a Mayan tomato and toasted pumpkin seed dip traditionally served with tortilla chips, and guests at Hacienda Xcanatun, Angsana Heritage Collection can learn to make it along with various Mexican sauces, all using native hot peppers grown on the property's own garden.
