After more than a decade and a half of covering 'every state, every issue', Australian Traveller has produced its first ever issue focussing on just one state. And what a state it is.
Western Australia is a vast, diverse and compelling proposition for travellers, and totally deserving of our collective attention.
Produced in partnership with Tourism Western Australia, this special edition of Australian Traveller features 156 pages of the very best that WA has to offer.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism, the Hon Roger Cook MLA, said the State Government, through Tourism WA, was proud to partner with Australian Traveller on such a unique opportunity.
“Through powerful storytelling and stunning imagery, this first ever single-state edition of Australian Traveller showcases the incredible destinations and experiences on offer to visitors in Western Australia. The State Government is proud to support this impactful media partnership, which is part of our wider strategy to drive interest in WA from all over Australia, to boost our visitor numbers and inject millions into our economy.”
Australian Traveller editorial director, Leigh-Ann Pow said she was spoilt for choice when selecting which particular stories to profile in the special edition.
“Western Australia has always been justifiably proud of its regions, its cities, its culture and its lifestyle, but when we started researching and planning and talking to WA-based writers about this issue it became instantly clear that we were going to be spoilt for choice when it came to the singular landscapes and experiences it offered up.
“I personally think that WA has a country's worth of wonders within its borders, and the more we delved into it, the more the issue became something of a love letter to a state that definitely deserves adoration.”
As well as being available on newsstands nationwide, this fantastic travel planning content is also available online via a special hub on the Australian Traveller website.
