Escape on a Hassle-Free Holiday to a Feather Down Farm: June Bookings Up 75% v 2019

Feather Down Farms

This summer, avoid the airport and enjoy a perfect countryside break on a Feather Down Farm.  A surge of enquiries has been reported since the half term break with bookings in June currently up 75% v 2019.

Commenting, Mark Gordon from Feather Down Farms says 'Enquiries have come flooding in this week, which I'm sure has been prompted by the pretty awful images of airport queues and stories of flight cancellations.   Many people are still looking to book for the summer, and whilst availability is limited in some areas, the good news is that we do still have holidays and short breaks available over the coming months at over 30 Feather Down Farms around the country.

Since we opened the first Feather Down Farm in 2007, our guests quickly appreciated the opportunity to escape to a simpler life, where they could relax and take things at a slower pace.  At Feather Down Farms, we are proud that we have worked over the years to keep costs down, to look after our guests and to provide an additional source of income to scores of farmers across the country. We were not one of those that jumped on the bandwagon in 2021 and hiked up our prices. We have such a loyal following – nearly 50% of our guests are repeaters – another reason that we are committed to fair open prices.'

With 32 farms around the country to choose from, Feather Down Farms offer the perfect away-from-it all holiday, staying in cosy tented-hideaways on beautiful farms around the country. The hideaways are spacious, yet cosy and welcoming in all weathers, with the creature comforts of snug beds, wooden floorboards and wood fired stoves, as well as flushing loos and hot showers.

A stay on a Feather Down Farm is a chance to experience a world without electricity or wifi, where adventures are real, rather than on a screen and there is plenty of time for everyone. Guests can binge on fresh air and freedom, with ample space for children to run around and for grown-ups to switch off and relax. The luxury is in the simplicity of it all.
