Laylo's Luxury Boxed Wines - the Chicest Option for Jubilee Parties & Posh Picnics

Laylo

Laylo Co-Founders Laura Riches and Laura Rosenberger have given the boxed format a luxury makeover. They source small, limited-availability parcels of premium wine, then wrap them up in boxes that customers can feel proud to serve at posh picnics or al fresco soirees.

The wines have won critical acclaim - their Sauvignon Blanc was described as “A Triumph!” by Masterchef judge William Sitwell - and boast an average 4.8* customer rating on Trustpilot.

Here's why...

They look beautiful - Laylo's boxes are unapologetically different. Each limited edition release uses patterns from the region to tell the story of the wine and its producer. For example, their latest wine - the Lot #8: Verdejo - is wrapped in a Gaudi-inspired smashed tile design, chosen because it's as quintessentially Spanish as the wine itself.

They're better for the planet - Boxed wine generates 90% less carbon than the equivalent wine in glass bottles. Plus the juice inside stays fresh for 6 weeks from opening... So if you don't quite polish off a 2.25l (3 bottle) box in one picnic, fear not. It'll taste just as delicious the next time you fancy a midweek treat in front of Bridgerton.

They taste delicious - The Lauras have over a decade's experience in the wine industry, most notably as the COO and Marketing Director of Naked Wines. They use their network of small, indie producers to source high quality wines, which wouldn't taste out of place in a fancy wine merchant.

Laura Riches says:  “Wine may be subjective, but we try to choose styles that are the equivalent of popping on Whitney at a house party - uncompromised joy. From the sunshine-in-a-glass Lot #2: Sauvignon Blanc to our posh Lot #7: Toscana, we have created boxes that can be confidently shared at a summer party.”

Laura Rosenberger says: “We unapologetically love boxed wines - from the lifestyle benefits and eco-credentials, to the way we can use the packaging to tell the story of the wine inside. If you're hosting a party, the boxes not only look fab on the table but you don't have to be too accurate about predicting the volume needed, as whatever's left over will taste great for weeks to come.”
