Holiday Inn Express Port Moresby has officially reopened its doors to guests as of 1 May 2022. The much-loved hotel is a staple in the region and located near the city centre as the ideal base to get business done or to start your Papua New Guinea adventure.

The hotel closed operations on 16 April 2020 following the first travel border closures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel remained partially open to support the community with accommodation rooms as required, in partnership with its sister hotel, Holiday Inn & Suites Port Moresby.

Two years on, Holiday Inn Express has opened its doors for a new era of travel to offer its 199 well-designed rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and all of the brand's loved perks such as the complimentary Express Start breakfast or Grab & Go options, complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, workspace and choice of pillows.
