The hotel's aesthetics convey an edgy elegance through mid-Twentieth century style interiors reflecting the heritage of the buildings' architecture. A minimalist colour palette inspired by the island's landscape, layers of warm neutrals, luxe textures and contemporary design are part of the clever restoration of one of the island's historic buildings.

At Hotel Riomar Ibiza, 2022 is set to be a summer of Wellness & Celebration. Mornings are dedicated to curated wellness experiences and complimentary activities including outdoor yoga or bootcamp with views across the bay. Later on, guests can also sign up for recharging walks in the vibrant countryside, when the golden light makes the rich earth seem an even deeper tone of red.

Ocean Brasserie & Bar is a stylish and welcoming space, with a hand-painted ceramic mural, which leads to the terrace overlooking the beach and offering casual beachside dining from midday to midnight. Afternoons are spent poolside, sipping on a refreshing cocktail, observing the golden reflections on the sea as the sun goes down, hazy as a dream. Get into the evening mood with DJ beats as the atmosphere takes on a certain edge.

With an extended beach area which includes 120 sunbeds in its own dedicated beach area, the hotel delivers a boutique style service. ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN STATEMENT

Hotel Riomar Ibiza relaunched in 2021 after a transformation into a boutique lifestyle hotel, comprising 116 rooms including 4 sea view suites, fully refurbished with a modern minimalist aesthetic. The project was conceived and developed by UK based MA Hotels Management (Blakes London, Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch, W Ibiza).

With the hotel's origins as one of the first on the island and the first in Santa Eulalia, originally established in 1968 and setting a precedent for Ibiza's tourism boom, the new interior design embraces the building's inherent features of mid-Twentieth Century modern clean lines, inset balconies and layered interiors.

A taste for nostalgia and qualities of timelessness were the core principles for the in-house design team. Furniture in the lounge is a mix of classic styles of Pierre Jeanneret Easy Armchairs and custom designed sofas. A 6-metre wide hand-painted tile wall mural, created by Visible who previously worked with MA Hotels on Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch's guest room art installations, depicts a nostalgic scene of beach goers. Artisan tile painters in Portugal were appointed to reproduce an original watercolour artwork.

The rebranding of the hotel, by specialist hospitality brand consultants Vacancy Bureau, also recalls notions of Modernist aesthetics. Detail is key throughout the brand. Every touch point of the hotel has been considered from the curated amenities and guest collateral. This demand for quality is also apparent in its sincere service attributes including a curated vinyl library with portable record players available for guests to entertain themselves in their rooms.

Hotel Riomar is a converted classic hotel where guests can share, enjoy and connect with the island's community. The importance of the building is that it pre-dates most of the surrounding town. Santa Eulalia is very conscientious of how it develops so the ambition for the hotel is to evolve over the coming seasons, slowly revealing the complete experience that the hotel will offer.
