Stay on a Feather Down Farm this Easter for the quintessential Easter experience for all the family.
With 32 UK farms to choose from, escape to a simpler way of life, staying in spacious canvas hideaways on working farms in some of the most beautiful corners of the country, being looked after by friendly farmers and their families.
In mid-April, many of the farms will be in lambing season, making it a magical time to visit, with the chance to meet, feed and maybe even hold a newborn lamb. There are also piglets, chicks and perhaps the odd Easter bunny to be seen. As well as the freedom to explore the countryside in and around the farms, some are also offering special Easter activities such as egg hunts and craft sessions.
A stay on a Feather Down Farm is a chance to experience a world without electricity or wifi, where adventures are real, rather than on a screen and there is plenty of time for everyone. Guests can binge on fresh air and freedom, with ample space for children to run around and for grown-ups to switch off and relax. All the canvas hideaways have wooden floorboards, cosy beds and wood stoves as well all their own flushing loos and shower facilities. The luxury is in the simplicity of it all.
Examples of farms available include the following:
Glastonbury Hill Farm: Oussent Lambs in the Somerset Levels

Easter on the Farm will offer the chance to meet tiny Oussent newborn lambs – one of the smallest breeds of sheep in the world – as well as egg painting and Easter egg hunts.
From the farm itself, there is a wide selection of beautiful walks to explore the surrounding countryside and Peter, the farm host, is a keen foodie offering guests plenty of local tips as well as a homemade breakfast box and hampers featuring local produce.
