Along with launching its upgraded mileage-purchase platform, EVA Air, Taiwan's leading independent airline, is running a special mileage purchase promotion, starting now and running until 13 January, 2022. Infinity MileageLands members can get up to 65% in bonus miles when they buy them online. EVA Air gave loyalty members mileage purchase services in October 2015, enabling them to obtain the additional miles they need to redeem EVA/UNI Air International flight tickets or to upgrade service.  Now, the airline is optimising its membership programme by working with loyalty programme developer Points.com Inc. The brand-new platform which Points has helped build creates an easy-to-use foundation that EVA Air can use for future mileage-related offers, promotions and services.

Members are eligible for up to 65% in bonus award miles in addition to the number they buy when they use the mileage-purchase system. During this promotion, Infinity MileageLands members who purchase between 1,000 and 8,000 miles get a 45% bonus. Between 9,000 and 15,000 miles, they get an extra 55% and those who buy 16,000 or more get a 65% bonus. The minimum purchase is 1,000 miles for $40, valid for 36 months. Members can take advantage of this promotion now and get the miles they need to take that trip they've been dreaming of sooner rather than later.

EVA Air continues to elevate member services by choosing partners with industry-leading capabilities and inviting member feedback. It has also eliminated some Purchase Miles limitations and members can now buy as many as 150,000 miles per calendar year. These miles cannot only be redeemed for tickets and service upgrades on EVA/UNI international flights, but also be applied to flights on other Star Alliance member airlines.

In addition to focusing on improving service procedures during the pandemic slowdown, EVA Air has also paid attention to member needs. It has extended validity for members' card tiers, mileage expiration and Electronic Upgrade Certificates. These service upgrades and improvements make this an ideal time for Infinity MileageLands members to acquire mileage they may need for their next trip.
